It was very pleasant the staff is very courteous prompt service and the coffee and treats were extra bonus
I bought my 2015 Kia Optima in Arizona and tacked on the associated service package. After moving to Portland in 2016, I've gone to Kia of Portland to redeem my service coupons, and they've been really great. I was worried about redeeming the coupons in another state, but there have been no hassles. The staff is efficient and friendly, and they even helped me to get four new tires at a fraction of what I expected even from discount tire shops! They've given me straight forward vehicle inspections and assessments without trying to up-sell me on anything. If you have time to wait, ask them for a wash. (You'll get the full new car wash as opposed to a coupon for the exterior wash at the place across the street)
Definitely a decent experience overall but it did have it's moments. We came from Salem because of an ad for a 2018 Soul +. The add showed such a good price in a conversation with a guy that helps people buy cars said, "What's wrong with it?" The car was perfect. We started the paperwork. After a bit, the salesman had to take us out and explain the spare tire is going to be extra. Oh, and the pulsing brakelight is an additional charge. These 2 things were already on the car with the advertised price. We shouldn't have to pay more for those. I was upset needless to say. That's what it comes to. My wife was amazing and calmed me down. The guy disappeared again and came back offering us a 2019 model virtually identical to the first one. What's the difference? The first one had 55 miles, the second had 14. They gave us the 2019 mode for the price the first one was advertised for. Well below sticker price. We couldn't think of a reason why not. We had been there for some time. We were hungry and thirsty and really needed to go. Took a long time for them to get the car from where it was parked. They have them packed in like sardines. Salesman was nice. I don't think I can blame him for anything. I will just chalk it up to a big city dealership. Solid 4 because we got a good deal and the salesman was a nice guy. Not a 5 star because they wanted to charge us extra for something already on a car at an advertised price and wait time. If I had to go there again I wouldn't be afraid to. I would recommend going because it is possible to get a good deal on a car. Oh, in Salem's Kia dealership for the same car their deal to us was $21k (and change). We did good.
VERY VERY NICE SALES PEOPLE!!!!
The staff helped put the cabin filter in.
